Hurricane IRMA Relief
Let's Help the people of the Keys

Hurricane Irma is past and most of us in Palm Beach County are returning to normalcy. That is not the case for our neighbors in the Keys. The images from there are difficult to absorb and reports tell us 25% of the homes have been destroyed, with 65% receiving major damage. Shelters are full to capacity with people existing in a camping like atmosphere. While we experienced the wrath of Hurricane Irma, we did not realize the impact at this level.

This is going to be a long-term recovery, but JupiterFIRST Church wants to help now! We have partnered with local residents of Jupiter to take trailers of supplies to those in the shelters as an outreach to our neighbors in need.

We will be collecting supplies through Sunday (10/1/17). Please bring your items to the church office during the week, to the Church Narthex on Sunday, or make a donation to JupiterFIRST Church - Hurricane Relief.

Items of need: (think camping, what would you take)

  • Canned food that can be eaten without being heated
  • Paper goods - including toilet paper and handy wipes
  • Cleaning supplies
  • Personal hygiene items
  • Chain Saws
  • Tarps
  • Baby products - including diapers and non-perishables
  • New towels and blankets
  • Bottled water

Please do not bring:

  • Combustibles
  • Expired food
  • Used blankets, towels or clothing

GIVE ONLIVE TODAY and note HURRICANE RELIEF or provide in the Hurricane Relief Envelopes on Sunday.
