Feed the Hungry

At JupiterFIRST Church we are passionate about feeding the hungry. That is why we have an intentional focus on outreach in our community that does just that. Through three of our local programs you can get involved in helping our neighbors at the most basic level - providing nourishment.

Cans for Communion - this is our monthly program where we collect non-perishable items to be distributed to our local food pantry. This occurs on the first Sunday of every month before and after our Worship Services. Click on the link to see how you can volunteer or what items you can bring to serve others in need.

Nutrition in a Knapsack - this outreach effort is focused on providing meals to our local elementary school children for the weekends when they might otherwise go without. Through NIK our volunteers supply these children with Knapsacks of food on Friday to sustain them through the weekend. Help & Hope - JupiterFIRST Church provides meals twice a month to the residents of The Lewis Center as part of the Help & Hope: Homeless Coalition effort in support of 75 people of our community in need of temporary assistance. Involvement includes soliciting meals from local restaurants or food providers, delivering meals to the center, or serving on the 2nd or 3rd Thursday of the month. Click on the link to learn more. You can't imagine how touched you'll be by being a part of helping another.
