Get Involved!

Our volunteers work to help create an atmosphere of friendliness and acceptance towards all our JupiterFIRST members and friends.  If you are interested in serving one (or more) of our ministries at JupiterFIRST, check out some of the opportunities below, fill out the form, and we'll be in touch with you soon!

Hospitality Team

Hospitality Team members serve during one worship service each month. The positions are Greeters, Ushers, Hospitality Table, Coffee Servers, and Substitutes. If you are interested, please fill out the form and someone from the church office will contact you for assignment.

Music Team

Our music team is an inspirational part of every worship service. Led by David Cowen, this group of musicians and singers perform a variety of music from traditional to contemporary, offering an uplifting experience for all. If you are interested in auditioning for the choir, fill out the form or contact David Cowen.

Bulletin Folders

Our bulletin folding team meets on Thursday mornings at 9:00am to help our ministry prepare for Sunday morning services by folding and preparing our weekly bulletins.  It is a wonderful time of fellowship, along with coffee and cookies!  If you are interested in serving, let us know via the form!

Live Webcast Team

Join the JupiterFIRST Church's Audio Visual Team and help send God's message live each Sunday over the world wide web.

The state of the art High Definition television control room is located in room 124 next to the Counseling Center. The volunteer two person AV teams normally are scheduled three Sundays in a row and currently rotate between three teams. The volunteers operate the video switcher, audio mixer, character generator (for titles), remote camera controller and video recorders under the direction of the Producer/Director, Jay VanDyke. The team also produces audio CD's that are sold and available at the end of each service. The video recordings are transcoded and posted in the archives on the JupiterFIRST Church website for viewing anytime.

The type of skills needed to volunteer are computer knowledge and willingness to learn new programs, hand/eye coordination, eye for camera framing and detail, remaining calm under live event, operating video camera on tripod and commitment to be trained on the operation of the equipment. Trianing sessions can be done on weekly evenings and weekends in order to accommodate persons interested.

If you are interested in this ministry, or if you have trained in the past, please fill out the form, or contact Jay VanDyke.
